【BRIEF】

The pandemic accelerated the use of social media not only as a source of entertainment but also as a business, an educational platform, and a place of work for many. However, it has also become a platform of delusion where users showcase a beautiful life that might be far from their reality. Technological advancements have only been a catalyst to support this lifestyle. This world depicts a city run by Influencers and Content creators while their high-tech robots do their odd jobs like curating aesthetic spaces, fixing public infrastructure, and doing their domestic chores. Since people are living in a virtual illusion, the communities are self-involved and all human interactions as well as collaborations are limited to social media platforms. The delusional lifestyle of Los Angeles under influencers in the next 25 years represents the exaggeration of the reality of our physical world and portrays humans as real robots who have disconnected themselves from life in search of 15 seconds of popularity. E-llusion is the evolution from a primarily physical to a dominantly virtual existence.

【HISTORY】

2020- In the pandemic – lockdown- cleaner environment- more influencers

2025- creating new techniques to use solar energy - policy to test alternate workdays-, people, a chance to be influencers again

2030- Fix the policy- creating robots to generate solar energy

2035- Realise the shortage of manpower- they start using robots for other works- they also start using social media as workplace

2040- Popular Influencers were elected into power- Influencers team up with the robots to keep working on the climate and make LA aesthetically better

2045- People get dependent on robots. People create duplicate identities illegally on social media and start keeping their real lives private because they are becoming insecure, robots also create fake identities and pretend to be human to gain power

2050- [E-llusion] Influencers come to power on the basis of their follower count

Next, I employ the machine learning capabilities of DALL-E to further refine the details of this career and assist in visualizing the spatial design aspects with enhanced precision and clarity.

In addition to the visualization process, I employed machine learning techniques, specifically EBSynth, to perform style transfer on the video. This advanced approach allowed me to seamlessly alter the video's aesthetic, imbuing it with a distinct artistic flair. By harnessing the power of EBSynth and machine learning, I was able to achieve a unique and captivating visual experience that further enriched the content.
